At Delaware Dental, we strive to make your visit a personal, enjoyable experience, where you can feel confident in your dental health. We make every effort to answer any question you might have regarding your dental health, insurance, or esthetic enhancements to your smile. We educate our patients on any present conditions and allow for making well informed decisions regarding their own dentistry.
During yor first visit, we will obtain a thorough health history, take the appropriate x-rays, perform an oral cancer screening exam and evaluate the health of the gums and bone surrounding your teeth. Unless there are signs of significant gum disease, your teeth will most often be cleaned at this first visit. All of our patients, even adult patients, can receive flouride treatment to keep teeth, gums, fillings and crowns strong, for a lifelong healthy smile. After the exam with Dr. Sexton, a treatment plan and if necessary, financial or insurance questions will be answered.
